This Sea Striker Hi-Speed Planer Kit is the wise man's downrigger. More effective for high-speed trolling than a downrigger. Attaches to the cleat and runs off its own independent line. The line separates from the planer, allowing the angler to fight the fish freely. Unlike the conventional downrigger, you don't have to retrieve it each time you hook a fish. The Planer line is 36" of 300 lb. test mono. This planer can be trolled at a much higher speed than other models. Comes in a nylon lure bag. This is an 8 oz. braced planer with a kit.
